Fig Dates & Nut Bars

1. Wash, drain, and dry dates and figs. Chop both and put them in a food processor, blending until they reach a dough consistency.
2. Put all mixed nuts in a food processor. Add vegan oil or butter to a skillet and lightly toast the chopped nuts on low to medium heat for only around 5-6 minutes. Let them cool.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the dates and fig mixture with the cooled nuts and mix well.
4. Shape the mixture: you can wrap it in cling wrap and cut into circles with a sharp knife, or roll it out and use cookie cutters for shapes, or cut into squares or rectangles with a regular pizza cutter.
